Involuntary Discharge and Transfer: Medicare Regulation: V767- Under the 2008 ESRD Conditions for Coverage the facility “provides the patient and the local ESRD Network with a 30-day notice of the planned discharge.” The Southeastern Kidney Council asks that facilities notify us prior to the patient notification so that we may assist with alternatives to discharge and to assist with the actual discharge process to ensure compliance with the Conditions for Coverage.
