To improve the lives of people with or at risk for End Stage Renal Disease by promoting and advancing quality of care.
About Us
Southeastern Kidney Council Inc., Network 6
We foster quality ESRD healthcare in the Network 6 area by:
- Helping… people understand End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and the available treatment options.
- Monitoring… the quality of ESRD care and coaching healthcare providers to deliver the highest quality of care possible.
- Facilitating… communication between patients and providers to resolve their disagreements.
- Working… with ESRD providers to maintain a registry of ESRD patients and providers.
- Reporting… descriptive and comparative data.
- Providing… educational programs and other learning opportunities for patients and providers.
- Contracts with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to operate ESRD Network #6
- Governed by a committed volunteer Board of Directors and its Committees
- Staffed by professionals with expertise in quality improvement, patient services and information management
